When we bought our combine in 2014, we priced up a Geringhoff. Too expensive though. Also with the long feeder house on a JD, we felt there would probably be some strengthening required which might interfere with a warranty claim, etc.
 
Not as far as I am aware but will soon be able to fit the Quickcut Marangon to the Claas, final testing is going on at the moment ready for supply for 2020 season

I reckon that is Butts who certainly had a play with a fold up header got to be 3-4 years ago?

Your right Ollie, Butts had an original prototype which had a few issues, 3/4 years ago, I think it had a twin drive system on the harvester to drive it. They reported back to the factory and ordered and took delivery of the new machine this year and are very please with it, everything they commented on has been resolved.
