PS, how did you get on with dryness in your new shed, was it just a condensation issue with the weather cooling down?
Good stuff am pleased it was as easy as all that, I'm picking as the covered area's soil dries out it will be less noticeable by next winter.I reckon so, yes.
99% of the time everything is bone dry in there, it's just occasionally some dew on them, weather I have concluded.

Looking good up there what a strange 12 months it has been for weather though
Perhaps not the time to confess it is 22 degrees here, and a beautiful day.....Terrible Pete, I'm itching to get some seed in the ground, but it's sodden, and it was bitterly cold today, and snowing!!
We were very lucky last year, what harvest work we did we had to steal it in between weather as we could.
Still, could be worse, we're still here to complain about it!
Any daffs yet?

I see my friends up the valley have managed to get their harvest this year, last two years they have failed to get their barley or wheat View attachment 647220
As you say, at least we are here and soldiering on, no point putting seeds in to rot, nature will let you know the right time for everything
Any daffs yet?
That's because it will be on the same side as ours.Lucky sod!
+1oC here and snowing like chuff.
Now might not be the time to tell you, but someone has stolen the steering wheel and dials from your car!!
Yes but the snow is spoiling them. Have some full size ones but they’re buriedAny daffs yet?

According to the online parts catalogue 885 arms are 30-1/2 inches long and there wasn't an option for extended arms, 1190 and 1194 are the same. 990/5/6 arms are either 35-1/2 or 38-1/2 inches longDoes anyone know why there is two different lengths of lift arm on an early 885 David brown ?causing bit of confusion with mate of mine as what to fit.one set is 30 and quarter inches ball centre to centre, other set is 33 and half ,tractor on 32 inch wheels,ex beet harvester skid he building up for ploughing matches,
