Wondering where the best slaughter houses are in the midlands to sell beef bulls under our first 60 day restriction so we can’t get a red market license

I've always thought that there was just a general licence with TB restricted straight to slaughter.

You only needed a licence with specific dates and ear tags of animals for an orange market.

This was before yesterday mind so the rules have probably changed

We've always done that when we were under restriction.

Rather than speculate on here, ring up your abattoir of choice and ask them exactly what they require. It's too risky to end up with animals in the bin because of one piece of paperwork is missing.

What age are these bulls?

ABP is your best bet if they are under 16 months.

Ref the licence question.

Phone up AH tomorrow and ask them to give you a general slaughter licence, no problem getting this licence unless there are problems like for example your TB test is overdue!

Pickstocks (Telford) or Woollies have taken ours on an APHA general license. Bulls, over age stuff and barren suckler cows.
APHA should have issued you a general license with the restriction notice.

Will they both take over age bulls? A couple of them are over age now
