Series 4 L200 side light issue

Hi,
Mate has a 2012 l200. The rear near side tail light is out. Bulb changed, and fuses all ok .
many ideas? Have heard it may be related to either glove box light or number plates bulbs? Anyone any ideas?

Wiring is a Bit random on the shitsibishy

Yes reverse light ok, as is reverse beeper ( standard on this vehicle for safety )

Is both the front side lights working?
If so its a wiring or connector issue

Yes, both front side lights all good

Towbar wiring damaged.

Crawl underneath, the towbar wiring will unplug from the loom, then plug the loom back into itself see if that fixes the issue.

That’s the first thing i did.
bulb working ok
0+ volts at plug. All wires as far as I can see before they disappear are ok too
