On the input gearbox, make shire there's a few inches depth of gear oil, EP90, or 90/140 will be ok. Usually a plastic plug or sight glass plug up about 3" from the bottom. The rotor vanes of the pump are drip fed lubricated by a little tap come sight glass indicator on the top. When the PTO is running it should be a drip per second approx. The oil is stored in the square flat part on the pump. You fill and check the oil level with the plug / dipstick clearly visible in your photos. Vacuum pump oil, compressor oil is recommended, used Utto is better than no oil , they waste the oil and use up quite a bit.

Yea. Only thing i have to add to above is I mix about 25% diesel into the oil for the vanes. Helps keep it washed and clean.

In ours the oil seems like it’s maybe got water contamination in it is there a way to change the oil? It’s an old taker that’s not used very often these days as we haven’t got a slurry pit as such anymore but we still need it for a few pits but only 1 or 2 loads at a time so it’s probably been a fair while since it’s been filled up

If you mean the main reservoir for the vanes, just pull the supply hose off the little pump at the back. The tank should drain if you remove the dipstick to let air in.

Front gearbox will have a drain plug.

Yes that’s what I meant. I’ve done the gearbox but I just keep re filling the one at the back for the vanes but it seems like it’s very dirty as it comes up to the glass drip thing

Try emptying it and flushing it with diesel. If the new oil still comes up dirty, maybe there's dirty water/slurry getting in somewhere.
