Setting Up Trimble XCN-2050 for Kverneland Óptima HD driller

Hello everybody,

A friend of mine has a Kverneland Optima HD Precision driller that he'd like to use for variable rate drilling, using prescription maps, with a Valtra tractor which has isobus. The problem is that the terminal which is installed in it (Trimble FM), is not isobus compatible. This being said, he has a trimble xcn 2050 in another tractor and he was thinking of installing it in the valtra in order to perform variable rate drilling.
The problem is that both of us don't know how to do it and he doesnt have technical support from the local distributors (Portugal). Is a specific set of cables needed to connect the terminal to the tractor?
Could you please give me some insights?
Thank you

Hi yes he would need a Trimble Part No.85037 which goes from the tractor into the XCN loom. If he is already using the ISObus socket in the cab for something else then he would also need a ISObus Y cable 97256

Hi Richard, thanks for the reply!
The isobus socket is not being used. Regarding the Trimble part No.85037 that you mentioned, how can I connect it to the terminal? Because I saw a picture of the cable (see link) and another cable seems to be needed to connect that same one to the terminal.
Thank you.
