They’re threshing easily. Got a nice sample, but even both sieves fully open the returns are full.
I’ve had the fan at 1600 it makes no difference.
The sieves are opening and closing correctly.

Which Lexion, those settings look miles away from what I would expect book/cebis to be?
Edit to say I have yet to cut any oats.

Really struggling with returns in spring oats.
Running a lexion. Can any help with some settings pls.
I was
concave 32mm
Drum 650rpm
Top sieve 15mm
Bottom sieve 13mm
Both bomb doors open
Rotors 700rpm
Fan 980rpm

Returns still high but manageable

Once you have opened the concave I would trying shutting the top sieve 1-2mm. If your oats are anything like mine then a lot blew out in the wind so there is a lot of material compared to the amount of grain

Try the Claas ‘Advisor’ app. They seem to be adding more of the older models as time goes by, and the suggested settings appear to work well on ours.
Post the model and I’ll screenshot the suggested settings if it has them.

There can be huge differences in bushel weight of oats, more so then most grains. A light sample requires far less wind than a heavy one. Oats very rarely take any threshing except to get the glumes off even when the straw is very green

Typically, It doesn’t list the 580, but it does have the following settings for the 780 which I’m guessing was the replacement hybrid, if it’s of any use 🤦‍♂️
