Seen the latest proposals and I think it's better to be in than out , also learnt today mid tier will be incorporated in to SFI
So what are you doing , think I'll have a pop .

Curious on that one, as at the moment mid tier is available to non BPS claimants whereas SFI you have to have been a recipient of BPS. So if they are merging which way is that eligibility going to swing ?
Have you not noticed some mid tier options are now available in SFI ?

from an arable point of view i think they have done a pretty good job. - it won’t suit those on 15t/ha land but why does land like that need tax payers cash to be viable ?

it will push arable production onto the better land where as providing public good / natural capital for tax payers money will look more attractive to those farming less productive acres who it will help remain viable on lower output / lower fixed cost systems that are kinder to ecosystems/ environment

it doesn’t look so great for livestock farmers from what i see but unless your a consistent big yielding arable or root crop farm I think it’s a utter no brainer for arable
