I thought I was being invaded by aliens last night, intense bright lights in the sky, then I spotted the red ones, not on the road.
Finally twigged they had two balers working until past 1am last night on what would be classed as a hill in the fens. The lights were so bright they made my eyes funny.

The weather forecast said this morning it was to be dry & fairly settled for the next 7 - 10 days...
It's been heavy rain all day!!!!!! Farms around us have already brought some cattle in... Going to be a long winter..☹️

Good summer here with us. Both cuts of silage dry and good quality and 3rd cut nearly ready. Straw all baled dry and undercover. Cattle have lots of grass ahead of them and ground very hard. Every summer like this please.

Pretty disastrous around here, possibly the worst I can remember for a good while and it started so well. Some neighbours yet to get first cut and land very wet, a lot of cattle inside and as grass is not growing, anybody heavy stocked ( like us ) are struggling.

Way to busy doing my own work thankyou. If guth cant cope with carting straw i suggest he doesn't get carried away at auctions waving his arms around at the flies!
