I think they are both the same or at least similar. Imagine you can turn a fair bit sharper being no drawbar to get in the way of wheelIs there a difference between goose neck and swan neck ? are they beneficial in any way ???
I have been told they needed the swan/ goose neck so you could get to a right angle with tractor, so when pulling away loaded, only 1 wheel had to be moved if u see what I mean, as majors and the like struggled pulling away otherwise. Is there a difference between goose neck and swan neck ? are they beneficial in any way ???

Yes 2wd onlyA local gravel company had a fleet of 5000 based SPs in the 60s and into the 70s. I thought they were 2 wheel drive and the crank driven front pump was to provide the hydraulic capacity for fast tipping large ram.
Got any more pictures of the VC15 behind it?This one as well. Different neck on this one.
Cant see neckGot any more pictures of the VC15 behind it?
Have you still got this machine? I've found details of six International B-450 based Shawnee Poole Dumpers that were owned by my family in the early 60s and I've only been able to find one mention of Internationals being used as the Prime Mover. Mostly Ford's it seems. Serial numbers were 4901, 8040, 8042, 8044, 9656, 9660 and although they were the Shawnee Poole serial numbers they fit into the B-450 sequence based on the dates so it makes me wonder if Shawnee Poole used the same serial as the donor tractor.
