Can anyone suggest where to buy the plastic coated fibreglass stem? I have a few that are broken and would rather not buy the whole unit!

I've never managed to find an exact replacement but this may be your best bet. Carbon fiber, 1.8m long - just choose outer diameter to suit

Everytime ours broke I cut it off where it was sound and put it back on. Admittedly it's only 18" long now though

Piece of threaded rod to the correct diameter. The fibre glass tube is hollow and roll of insulation tape.
