Bet chap who bought the 1884 with 3k hours on in original condition for 130k last year is sat on chair laughing.

Must make that 1884 worth £230k + working of that price.

Absolutely nuts

I’m not so sure, because something makes X amount at an auction does it make everything else similar worth the same?

Mostly no, but when it comes to the County 1474 / 1884 range I think it'll certainly have a good influence on the future values

think your 100% right. The old vintage was going up and up now no one wants it as the old boys are dying off. Give it 20 yrs and no one will want a county as the men who saw them as kids are dying, people will want that very rare tm that only did 1000hrs. Yes a lot more tms were made but how many got parked up under a dust sheet in storage and kept original. If they ever put a tax on tractors based on emissions then that’s the old ones devalued over night and I can’t see why it won’t happen, electric free, add blue cheap and old dirty diesel high tax???

not only that but when classic tractors sell for round the £10,000-£20,000 mark there is a lot more potential buyers, now over £100,000 plus? look its not a classic ferrari that has a world wide potential sale? Yet in saying that there was two potential buyers to push the final sale price to that level? The doe dual drive prices seem to have reached there limit, i remember about 10 years a go at cheffins vintage sale a unrestored supermajor doe duel drive fetched about £66,000 plus buyers comission and vat add on another £20,000 or more to restore it has that been a good investment?

A serria cosworth is stil an attractive car for some young drivers today same as a twin cam even though they werent born for years after production stopped. Some classic/vintage things will hold thier value but itl only be the special things
