According to a text I got from KW Feeds on 27/11/17 vits A & E will be in short supply as the world's primary vitamin factory in Germany burnt down on 31st Oct. Also heard that China has restricted their supply - the barstewards are probably reckoning on making a fast buck:mad:

How do all of these factories burn down? Daihatsu fourtrack factory in early 2000’s, Calor or BOC had a factory burn down 3-4 years ago.. that’s just naming a few!

Firm I sell for don’t [emoji106]

Today I’ve been told there will be a small price rise until further notice on some products due to the vitamin shortages.
The firm that has lost manufacturing capacity in Europe has acquired a facility in Brazil but unsure as to when those products will reach the uk.
Panic buying is on the increase and people need to carry on as normal.
There are other sources of the minerals that are in shortage which will take a while to come through.

@GTB @MRT did you get a letter from CCF yesterday about the lack of minerals available because of a fire at the factory and once the company involved has found another source (soon after Christmas) their will be a slight price increase. I’ll try and get a photo of the letter tomorrow.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
