There's another one on DD at present, it looks more original than mine. A good few pipes have been changed on mine but the one for sale seems to have all the original steel pipes.
Also a previous owner re-sprayed mine. I need a few pins and bushes around the king pin and slew rams. I'm not sure what engine I have, probably a DB 1390 as I think the 1394 had a turbo and came out in 1985, I could be wrong on the year. She's '87 and transmission is a Borg Warner velvet, I think it was also used on the early 3CX and also in boats. Will try get more pics, but here's a couple.

This thread has slipped too many pages so since both of our 996s were working today here's the Sekura cab one doing some heavy lifting
20220713_213429.jpg

and the working project doing some tedding

The project has gained a 1200 front axle, loader brackets and a spool valve in the last few months so mechanically it's getting there, just not cosmetically.

Low oil level, pick up pipe broken or missing, 'O' ring behind pump blown, valve in control chest sticking, drive shaft worn if a front mounted pump, spool valve bypassing, endless others.

Starting with the basics - have you checked oil level?

if OK then try bleeding air by cracking the high pressure supply line which is under the left hand side below the door.
