Brought her home today, handy wee 14mile trip to get into the way of her
She’d look really purposeful on 14/34’s and on a wider track - say 64”Pair of 14 x 30s on the back would make a difference if you're going on grass.
Would suit us then if she was like that, perfect as isShe’d look really purposeful on 14/34’s and on a wider track - say 64”
Nice, but ???????Very good I think but what’s it all about

Need to do a bit more research .came up on you tubeNice, but ???????
Done to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a dealer in the Netherlands who used to sell David Brown and now sells Case IH, as far as I know.Need to do a bit more research .came up on you tube
Will be fine, buy a good dB loader that fits without getting the gas and the welder out. Its not a big job to fit the heavier axle if necessary.Thinking of putting a loader into our 1394 2wd, not for anything to strenuous, lifting some straw, meal, few bags of fert, that kind of thing. Be fine for that? Ive seen people say the front axles of 1394s aren’t suited to loader work, would it be ok for a small work load like that? Would like a loader in the TSA but looking at cheaper options in the mean time.
It'll be fine for what you're doing. Fitting bigger front wheels does as much harm as the loader. A lot of people also fit badly engineered euro headstocks to the DB style loaders and push the weight further forward.Thinking of putting a loader into our 1394 2wd, not for anything to strenuous, lifting some straw, meal, few bags of fert, that kind of thing. Ours is the twin ram steering, 1390 has the side ram. It'll be fine for what you're doing. Fitting bigger front wheels does as much harm as the loader. A lot of people also fit badly engineered euro headstocks to the DB style loaders and push the weight further forward.
It isn't difficult to fit the heavier front axle if you've got side ram steering. I've got one fitted to a 996 and have another waiting to be fitted.
If you want a DB or Case loader you'll need a GD90, HD90 or L1100, although a Quicke or similar might be a better option if you can find one.
Don't be tempted to modify a loader or fit a narrow boom DB loader off an earlier model. The loader on my 996 had been on a 1390 and it was a mess.
The twin ram steering is better on that axle. Twin ram steering on the heavy axle would be an interesting engineering project, don't think it was available from the factory.Ours is the twin ram steering, 1390 has the side ram.
I seen cheap enough quicke brackets it’s for a 94 series and it’s what got me thinking. Are the hydraulics good for a loader?
Pass, not sure about DB hydraulics, where are the pumps/pump? It’s a commemorative edition if that’s makes a differenceThe twin ram steering is better on that axle. Twin ram steering on the heavy axle would be an interesting engineering project, don't think it was available from the factory.
The hydraulics are probably as good as anything else from the time. I assume yours is a single pump model? Tandem pumps are rare on 2wd.
Pump on a 13 is at the front, driven off the crankshaft. Parts book explains single vs tandem best..Pass, not sure about DB hydraulics, where are the pumps/pump?
