Does the Tory government have a thing about Beauticians? They are closed by government Covid decree. But Barbers and hairdressers are allowed open. What is the difference. Did Bojo or Gove have a bad waxing sometime and this is their revenge. So those businesses are legally enforced closure and now have to start picking up costs as furlough unwinds - so less government support.
Isn't it to do with hand to face contact?
I understand from what I've heard, that a barber may trim your beard but can not give you a shave, because that would probably necessitate holding face skin tight.
And beauticians?
Well. I would imagine that's pretty hands on?
Certainly should be, for some examples I can think of, who would benefit from a couple of hours work.

Not a clue - but your explanation sounds good. Not the sort of place I frequent! And I think I am beyond hope of prettying up!! I might go onto the Arsenal players forum as I am sure the pretty boy Premier League players will know the answer!!!!! Best wishes.

Mixed Farmer
Thankful I don't have a virus thats killed two local farmers, on top of that Im glad that Im not a risk to those who are at risk, even so I will keep my distance where possible. I am (after talking to the testers) slightly sceptical as to the results, despite being confident I followed the instructions. I fear this winter is going to be a long one, I just wish we had acted more decisively at the start. I know of one farmer (57) who probably would still be here if Cheltenham was cancelled.

Yep, Cheltenham was serious bloody f'up... Took the virus back to Ireland too...
