That's roughly how much they get along barriers twice a day

I'm not sure. That's all they get graped to them twice aday. It was roughly as sometimes have bit of a bale in chopper already then a full bale

I was thinking that to but wasn't sure what to give along with it. We have a friend that does nutrition for dairy herds for the company we get the nuts of so thought could give him a call and see what he suggests

Have started twins on meal this past week now to so only singles not getting meal. Would it Annoy there digesting if added straw on top of silage ?

No problem adding straw. But keep in mind that the nutritional value of straw is very little so the more straw you add the more meal they will need to compensate..
But it will strech your silage no doubt about that.

Would it work for instance give them a silage feed in morning and then a straw feed in evening ? Or wouod that be to sudden of a change each day

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
