We never sample for nitrates, just make sure it's high %dm and the it'll be converted into protein in our experience

What sort of tonnage are you thinking is there? I would imagine a few around here could go with going just to have somewhere to put slurry

Were you at it yesterday in Drefach area yesterday HC? Went to look at HPC heifers, and could see them at it from his place.

Regrowth from 1st cut exactly 2 weeks since cutting. This despite virtually no rain. The field was reseeded last year with ACT’s no.8 mixture.

Finally done, 60 acres of silage in and 10 acres of round bailing done, even got a bit of a start made at the slurry. Tea and bed now

Nice day for it. Pit filling up quickly.
