Do we know it's going to be short . A few very big merchants are predicting a glutt mid harvest , I'm saying nothing other that some price expectations are crazy, power stations ate paying a bit more so it's bound to rise a little on last year's pre harvest pricewhat is a realistic price for wheat and barley straw in the swath?
been told it used to be £30 an acre for winter barley doing roughly 8 4ft rounds to the acre should I expect a touch more than this with straw shortages? but not £50 < that's just a bit of a ripoff?
I understand the arable farmer will want it cleared asap
what about wheat?
