Also it might be cheaper from up country but how many claddy bales etc will you get in each artic load V buying it from a local farm?? where you know its 100% dry straw!
Trouble is he’s run out now and the straw he has bought off the field hasn’t been cut.

I always reckon straw from up country to be better quality. Certainly don't get clatty bales.What can you get it delivered in for?

80just paid £90 ton barely straw delivered, from our usual supplier, bit steep, but he didn't sting us all winter.

thankyou, I can enter negotiations with an idea of price, same as we think, it's no good screwing anybody we regulary use, there's always another day, and he didn't screw us last winter.
