I would think £30 ton Ex farm but with plenty of grass growth farmers will be selective and slow at buying , that's for grass

DM 27%

Crude Protein 17.6%

D Value 73%

ME 11.7MJ/kg

I reckon £40/tonne ex farm would be cheap. Can organise transport too at cost.

Not yet. What percentage do they take? There are quite a few large herds around here that always run short by Christmas and end up paying top dollar for shite! I thought they might be keener to buy this stuff...

4% is going to be about £1.50 per tonne. That sounds a lot over 2000 tonnes, especially as they take no risk and just handle other people's money.

I would like to think they would guarantee payment for that rate like a market you get your cq rest up to them?

I used to think that until I did some fencing work through PMR and the farmer couldn't pay.
