I did hear that some square bale straw made about 110 quid a ton delivered yesterday

They don't seem to be having dedicated fodder sales currently. They told me more fodder entered in next machinery sale

I see some of the silage bales have no bids, on the stags sale

lot of straw in symonds/sampson's fodder sale this week, people not holding on ?
we used to do a fair bit of little bale hay, for horses, if we ran short, used to put some big bale through the little baler, indifferent hay, came out as top grade, according to the horsey girls, must be right, they usually moan about any hay !
we have lorry and drag of hay coming, pre-ordered, £74 ton.
straw, we have to pick up a load, not up to buyers high expectations, we have had straw from same barn, bit of end damp, but fine, the load for us, went on down to bideford. Farm to get it, is very close, so no problem at all, that will work out at sub £80/ton, and a happy dealer, he doesn't have to bother with it, and straw 75 miles further down, to non regular, £130+, everybody happy, especially us.

Think there was some in Symonds and Sampsons sale today- maybe a call to see if it sold? Or if they have any for next month?
