Simba freeflow help

Hi all got a new to me freeflow no manual as yet. Should the diagonal plate as in the photo be in there for sowing barley does it come out? Cant really see how it would get enough air to blow anything with it where it is? Any other tips more than welcome

Thats how they are, pressure wash out, fit end plates (grease bolt!) and test the airflow at the coulter, the regulator plate on the fan should be at max for barley/wheat.

Looks how it should clean it out. The put back. Make sure sealed. Keep wind up abit. Fantastic metering units they are very accurate
