Siromer 204 / Jimna tractor breakers

I have bought a siromer 204s with an issue with the rear lift arm assembly which is an easy fix if I can find the correct parts. I've contacted the uk dealerships and it seems the part I require is hard to come by. Basically I need the hydraulic casing shown below and on this link. https://www.circlegtractorparts.com...ssembly/hydraulic-lift-assembly-200-new-style Does anyone know of anyone who might have one new or second hand, tractor breakers perhaps? I believe it to be common on Jimna tractors too.

Have you given the Siromer importer a call? They are based in Lancashire here is the number: 01253 799 029

I'd be very surprised if they didn't have the part or know where to find it.
You can have a whole Jinma 204 for spares apart from the diesel pump for not a lot.

When you say not a lot, how much you looking for it and where are you please?

Could you let me know of the breakers please? I have a Siromer 304 which requires new pistons, but the agents do not import them any more (for the "Q" type engine) so I was looking to get a couple from a breaker. Any help greatly appreciated, as the machine is stuffed, just now!

Think the 204 is a different engine as it is 2 cylinder. I thought the 304 was 3 cylinder. Still have the jinma 204 for spares but dont know how similar to siromer 304 it is.

Well I'll try and find out if they can be used - luckily, I "only" need two pistons, so if the 304 is just a 204 with an extra cylinder, we may be in business. Thanks for the reply, and I'll go an see if anyone can tell me if the pistons are interchangeable.

What's caused pistons to fail?
That is a good question, and I really cannot say for sure. The failure was in the ridge between the second and third rings on both pistons, and the rings were broken too. There was no oil problem, and no damage evident to the liners, so I am thinking that maybe the rings broke, and that then broke the ring retaining ridge. The engine is 12 years old, and does not do a lot of hard work - just operating aa back-actor, and a bit of loader work occasionally. It has required the use of aerosol starting mixture in the cold weather, and I am wondering if that might have caused the problem. I do not have any proven instances of this, but heard plenty tales of excessive use of "Aerostart" or similar, causing problems.
