How is the Kramer going?

No door, one new hydraulic pipe already (because it's hydrostatic drive and 4 wheel steer it has more pipes than a hydra AND the bozos who designed/built it allow them to hang underneath without protection), new fan belt, new head gasket & injectors (on warranty) and quite a bit weaker than we thought but it does a job

Hand and foot controls is a whole another argument
We found that crap builds up very quickly under the foot pedals especially when working with manure and sawdust. Compromises lift and crowd until someone can be arsed to remove them for cleaning. Also, it means that you are running entirely on a hand throttle which is why I much prefer the JCB total hand control for steering, lift and crowd and use the right foot for feathering throttle exactly as I want.
And what about when all the sh!t that builds up under the pedals freezes in winter

Surprised you lasted a day! Lad that worked for us used one to fill cubicle beds, as soon as he stepped out of the cab he threw up, motion sickness!
I used to go clearing sheds out on hire . It's the foot pedals that get you . Same as all machines /tractors,it all seems wrong if you change from one make to another but you soon adapt

I use run quite a few bobcat’s and case. cleanings out poultry houses be in constant use seven days a week and doing a lot of hours, case
was the easiest to drive, bobcat’s was the easiest to cut the cab down, for maintenance, there wasn’t a lot in it. One is good selling point was High and low speeds ,So there pretty quick, getting up and down the sheds. We did try the Jcb liked it, but you would get
stuck in the cab ,if you were cleaning out chicken houses with soil floors going alongside the wall if they was wet, so was no good to us ,dangerous. We had a good selection of attachments toe tip buckets from load trailers
you name it, we probably had it.
Just one picture showing how dirty they would get cleaning now battery hens when they would be living above you, when we was in the pit. Boiler chickens was not so bad.

You don't get stuck in cab in a JCB, you can take front window out. Don't ask how I know

Surely a JCB or at least a enclosed cab would be ideal save you getting a mouth full of muck

You have cut the cab off to get to end of some sheds because they have sloping floors and down the sides there are some very low sheds out there, It’s not pleasant being sh!t on but the £’s made up for it .
