I do not need to know why this poster has chosen to change his user name. It is none of my business.

I post purely because I wonder at the logic of every post he has made now showing that it is made by a new member - phillipe. Yet when somebody has quoted one of his posts it shows the quote as being by skinnyhoskins. What is the purpose of this? Until I worked out what had happened it was confusing to be suddenly confronted with a post a year old being attributed to a "New Member".

As I understand it, the member, Skinnyhoskins, for his own moral reasons, no longer wishes to be part of this forum. A decision that I respect.
And I believe he had requested that his account be deleted.
I assume, to retain continuity within threads he had contributed to, his postings have been left in place, a decision made by the people in charge, but his user name changed, this was not done by Skinny himself. Make if that what you will.....

Quoting or tagging him is pointless, as he no longer contributes here.

Perhaps the real skinnyhoskins has come forward??

As I said, the real Skinnyhoskins will not come forward, not on here anyhow, he’s made his mind up and no longer wishes to contribute here. He has his reasons, and they are to be respected I think, he’s just standing up for what he believes is right and wrong.

He, along with many other names that have already been mentioned, has found another place to socialise on line, and that is why there has been a lack of input from some members on here recently. Unhappy members have simply moved on.

Please forgive the slightly cryptic way I’ve explained it, and the lack of some information, I simply cannot give all the facts on here, like where they have gone, it wouldn’t be right and actually is not allowed.

Well, there's another forum contributor I'll miss. I'd love to meet the fellow in real life as we had a lot in common on here. I'm only sorry he's gone as there was always a mine of information forthcoming. I do also miss Carol & Pete. & I believe this forum is much the poorer place for their omission. @Clive Please enlighten me/others f you can (or wish to) on why these fine folk have decided to part company or am I missing something. Probably as i was always a bit fick at skool!
I truely hope this isn't a slow degradation into the bitter back biting place the old FF ended up becoming. Folk with too much time on their hands & also dare I say it too much money!

The user skinnyhoskins asked for his account to be deletd so that’s what has been done, previous content then becomes anonymised as deletion makes old threads nonsensical

As for issues relating to company employees either current or pervious they are private and not appropriate subject of public debate, content posted aiming to further wind up that regrettable situation or damage TFF will (unfortunately) have to be moderated

TFF remains as light touch moderation as has always been the case but that doesn’t mean we can allow liableous or other content that breaks forum use terms and conditions.
