Converting an existing shed (90 x 45) to a cow shed for approx 30 beef cows, thinking of sloped concrete lying area with scraped passage at bottom which have seen some places. Cubicles not option. Anyone have any experience? Not sure how much to slope? Enough to drain and possibly enough so that cows lie head up the slope rear end down. Also, heard about using insulation under concrete- any one have any experience? Trying to cut down on bedding costs! Any advice appreciated
