We are running our Sepcom at 7.5-9.5 total solids, on 0.9 main and 0.9 extension screens. The 0.75 main screen caused a lot of wear, much happier with the 0.9Was going to ask a similar question currently using a FAN seperator on an AD plant, but running costs very expensive, and doesn't like to work at anything below 10% DM so looking to change it before the winter.
made me laugh when I read this morning in the telehandler!Sepcom, from Greencrop (Ben Burgess Beeston). Good support for us as local. Similar machine to Bauer but no doors on the solids outlet, something more like a cat's arse.
had a few emails from howard at greencrop and all going fine.We are running our Sepcom at 7.5-9.5 total solids, on 0.9 main and 0.9 extension screens. The 0.75 main screen caused a lot of wear, much happier with the 0.9
We are at about 26% solids in the separated solids on the 0.9 screen. It was higher on the 0.75had a few emails from howard at greencrop and all going fine.
the are going to also quote twin auger Visscher machine but not got into it yet really.

I do quite like the idea of tramspreads stallkamp machine and its a lot cheaper than most (its also a smaller) but it might not do the job in the ad plant. tramspread good to deal with also from experience.
