No it has to move the hose past the tractor wheels as it will be on the front linkage & the hose runs down the side of the tractor , had a one last year smaller & you had to use it on the back so sold that one & made a bigger one to make life easy.
So you have one tractor spreading and another shifting the hose about for the spreading tractor ?

Yes the Cornell is running very well , will move 500,000 gal a day no problem & use less that 200 litres of fuel. Give us a call & come & see it work or you will see the video we are having made of it working with the 24 meter dribble bar & the hose humper

Must have some big fields

This thread is a real insight in to umbilical rigs to me a none slurry man but someone who acquired an engineering qualification or 2 on my travels and enjoys making things.

We use a lot of digestate which is spread by a big joskin and dribble bar down the tramlines. Supported by wagons they can shift approx 1000 to 1100 cum a day. Can't see what an umbilical would add to this system in our case as limiting factor is the wagons but if you were pumping direct from the plant or a lagoon to outlying land as they were at one point then could see benefit of umbilical. What sort of capacity do you have per day with a rig like your's speedster?

All very interesting stuff

Cheers
