Small land for bees oxfordshire

Hello

I am a beekeeper and I’m looking for anyone who is willing to come to an agreement on providing some space for Bees that need a home. I am also willing to pay rent if anyone has a small piece of land to rent and provide some honey.

Bees are ever expanding in the hives and new sites are always required to keep them in good health. It’s a bit of a blessing for the beekeeper but also a never ending challenge to find them homes. In a normal season a hive will need to be split 1-2 times to ensure the population stays and are kept healthy, that’s 1-2 extra colonies that will need a home per full hive per year. I also catch swarms that need a home. A swarm has a low chance of survival unless beekeepers help them out, generally landing in places no one wants them and ending up being destroyed.

I would like to have a more wide spread population of bees in areas, this improves breeding, creating more drone congregation areas with different genetics for queens to mate, resulting in healthier stronger populations for miles around. I use queens only from the UK that have proven genetics and desirable characteristics or my own queens if they prove to be good nature.

I am fully insured, a member of OBKA and BBKA.

I would need something to be reasonable local to me as I would need to visit often but if anyone is interested let me know.

Ideally I’d love just a small secluded plot of land even if it was just 30x30 feet.
