It looks weird in some places where the wind has caught a feature even if its only a stone stuck out in the field or a fence post either side there can be hardly a covering of snow, in front of the feature/structure massive drifts, the one above next to trailer, I know there are 2 flags laid on top of the other at angles and slightly raised, the point of the drift corresponds many feet below the corner of a flagstone

Light flurry of flakes here this morning, just cursing the damn biting wind which gets everywhere.

We can't complain really compared to other areas, that woman on the Isle of Man searching for 700 ewes last night I feel sorry for.

Fell asleep with radio 4 on last night woke in early hours to hear someone discussing LR forecasts and he was saying about some charts which are showing bitter cold throughout april, please tell me I dreamed it:(

certainly nothing warm showing,these blocked patterns can take a very long time to alter.
time the jetsream came back north from it's holiday.
Bookmark the ECM link further up the page,what you are looking for is the emergence of the warmer colours to the South heading North towards the UK.i'm not holding my breath though.
