Problem is we're not making much , gas is still soaring ...I heard urea is crashing already due to farmers cutting back rates and demand slumping.
Roller coaster.
Cropping decisions , we don't do spring cropsWe are going to be establishing spring crops with fert bought at 6-£700/t.
What difference does August make?
It will be self limiting surely. Farmers cut back rates worldwide. Market goes into over supply. Price crashes.Problem is we're not making much , gas is still soaring ...
Interesting , my most profitable input is N .It will be self limiting surely. Farmers cut back rates worldwide. Market goes into over supply. Price crashes.
Maybe we are entering an era when farmers don’t feel obliged to flood markets with “ cheap food”. I certainly don’t. Nothing will get much more than 150 kg N per ha here this year.
The last thing we need is over supply of wheat.
yes if if crops clean and disease free its all part of the jigsaw.Interesting , my most profitable input is N .
And lower yieldLower N rates gives lower disease levels.
But not as much as the fert and spray salesman would have you believe. If you're cutting N rate anyway, due to cost, the fungicide saving comes for free. And lower yield
It's usually lack of sunlight hereWater shortage is our limiting factor. Burn up in June. No point in putting on lots of N.
Fungicide reduction will only happen if growers reduce their use. I doubt very much if agronomists will recommend reducing sales. But not as much as the fert and spray salesman would have you believe. If you're cutting N rate anyway, due to cost, the fungicide saving comes for free.

No shortage of moisture here always short of sunIt's usually lack of sunlight here
More Sulphur , less fungs , that's my plan , could go tits up but there is evidenceFungicide reduction will only happen if growers reduce their use. I doubt very much if agronomists will recommend reducing sales.
Thats you taking charge of agronomy decisions, but an agronomist usually is tied to chemical sales, be that volume or margin to make money.More Sulphur , less fungs , that's my plan , could go tits up but there is evidence
