Soil in concave

What's the best way to get soil out of a concave?

Asking for a friend.

If its blocking your concave chances are its also on your grain pan= power hose.

Take it out and jet wash it... been there done that

If it is still moist a road compressor will blow it out. If it has gone hard put a day or more aside for the job.
Some combines you can easily remove sections of the grain pan floor to clean them which makes the access much better and makes the job a lot easier.

It's only in one side, I can only feel up through the stone trap, going to try to reach down from above the drum tomorrow. Spring barley was 22% today and dragging up as I was having to shave it to get all the brackled heads. Onto some stronger land that has been sprayed longer tomorrow as the flood water will have dropped enough to get into the field.

Gotta love harvest!
