anyone had a real price, or is using such a system
Ps I am not selling just looking at figures
Pm me if you prefer

we have a 72kw lithium battery installed on a 150kw pv system on a dairy farm. With monitoring and data system. We can supply batteries up to 500kw.
Sorry I ment to mention you should be looking at a £700 per kw installed
so what size is the battery you have installed 70kWh or ?Our Apologies, well addressed Highland Mule maybe you can reference your installed capacity of kWh in the UK. just for people who have no idea what we are taking about i've places the explanation here for them.
A kilowatt-hour (kWh) and a kilowatt (kW) may sound like the same thing, but they're. While both are interrelated units of measurement, the important difference between kWh and kW is that a kWh reflects the total amount of electricity used, whereas a kW reflects the rate of electricity usage. hopefully that clears up that little issue.
Battery installations usually have a kWh storage rating and a kW peak supply rating, such as the Tesla South Australia installation which is rated at 193.5 MWh and 100 MW, due to be uprated to 150 MW.You're a supposed supplier of the goods and you don't even know the correct units for the product you're selling? Battery capacity would be in kW-h, not kW......

PV in Offaly Don't think I have ever seen the sun during my visit there.I see pv is now the goto over wind; but some recommend wind to charge or top up batteries at night??
Im wondering if its worth while running a 500-1000w turbine with 1-2 kw panels and batteries if for nothing else but to learn about the systems involved??
We are currently running a diesel genny 35kva, and would like to reduce its usage
Slightly off the Wall but could the NEW car be part of the house system? A Prius is a 200v storage device on wheels! 12v LED lighting is adequate, if I was to rewire my house now, I would put in a low voltage circuit. A lot of stuff runs at even 5v.Slightly of the Ball but I am looking for a 5Kw vertical axis wind turbine any one with Knowledge of there failings or ideas of where to go for one may be usefull them would like totag them to a battery system to run house and charge "NEW" car that will come one day but in the order outlined.
Love vertical axis turbines for being omnidirectional if un-governable. Even Dusty Miller could trim his sails in Trumpton. Wind and sun are fickle but if you have some moving water you are rich.Slightly of the Ball but I am looking for a 5Kw vertical axis wind turbine any one with Knowledge of there failings or ideas of where to go for one may be usefull them would like totag them to a battery system to run house and charge "NEW" car that will come one day but in the order outlined.
There have been many attempt to build vertical turbines and I believe a member of this forum thought he had cracked it.@rick_vandal Wife and I moved in 7 Mnths ago so I wont be rewiring just yet, rainfall last 12 months was 500mm and near to the top of any bump so not much moving water
As someone said before me, solar panels and an electric cars the numbers will be easier to make sense of. Yes new car may be over your budget but give it a few more years second hand EV’s will start filtering down. Especaly if you have the car plugged in at those peak times and your system lets you draw from it.I've been looking at a system of 9kwh for £6k installed but Im struggling to make the figures stack up even now. Our problem is that our bills are incredibly expensive between 4pm and 7pm (because we are H/H metering and capacity size.) Electric is 3 times the price it is during the rest of the day. But these battery storage systems are only designed to work on a single phase (a bit pointless on a 3 phase system like ours)
The photo above is far more the type of system I'm after though... But I can't make the figures work.
The concept is not realistic, no matter how many times it has been tried. Outputs are very lowWho has anyone Knowledge of Aeolos Vertical Turbines little bit I know is they are China based, anyone got one.
