Solar edge accuracy..versus import HH meter

Evening.

I'm wrestling with Npower.

I have an HH meter at dairy unit.

I also have a solar edge system with my 50kw array.

I clearly get billed for import on my meter..logging kwh used.

Why is this figure different to the meter reading for mains import showing on my app.

Those familiar with solar edge will know the layout, however , fir those that don't..the reports show power consumption from each source, and generated.

If there's no sun then all consumption is logged as mains...when sunny/ daytime the usage of import drops..But over a month these figures on the 2 seperate meters can be as much as 30% apart.

My solar bod can't explain it..

Hmm

Thankyou for that..

so it should be accurate..

I looked back at a day in June that i had picture of meter 24 hrs apart at it was 30kw different..

This November it was miles different..

My solar edge said i bought it 4.92mwh..

My invoice said i used 6.99 (almost exactly the same as 2022)

There's got to be something amiss...

I am not familiar with solar edge, but do have 2 separate monitoring systems on my house and they never agree. This is due to the clamps I think.
however I would not put my money on any meter being 100% they should though be fairly close

Our generation metering was under reading initially, the installers had used too small a gauge of wire between the CTs and the meter, and the resistance was causing errors. Going from 0.5mm2 to 2.5 mm2 fixed it.
