Solenoid operated hydraulic valve

After a bit of help understanding what type of solenoid operated hydraulic valve.

I need 6 solenoid operated slices with 3 of these the function is single acting.

What way does a single acting solenoid valve work?

Thinking it must be different to a double acting otherwise you would be pressuring the B port? Assuming it's just a different spool in the slice?

Thanks in advance

Thats a dear valve your asking about Jack,
they are available in a mono-block style but are somewhat bulky.
the normal option is a manifold block and ctop 3 or 5 depending on oil flow required.

a 24v unit could be acquired out of a truck breakers or scrap yard if you had time but id assume you want 12v and secondhand they are scarce enough in 12v.

Seen this on eBay. Might do your job. Not sure if it's 12volt or 24volt coils you need. They do have both. It's all double acting but it's easy to change to single acting by simply connecting either the A or B port on the sections you want to make single acting back to the T port. Hope this helps

from Barry's link,

this is the 12v 6 section one, im sure if you contacted them they would build one to suit or only wire up one side of the solenoid for single acting.
thats not dear, god only knows what its like but in the big player brands it id be a staggering price.
