Having been on the recieving end of them, I'd reccomend Pennington Manches. They did very well for the ex wife.

Hello everyone, a good friend of mine has had a surprise divorce put upon him. He is very elderly and I believe has a strong case to not hand over 50/50 split. Does anybody recommend a solicitor that knows their stuff regarding farm/ land/ property and divorce. It’s a complex case. East Anglian area
I believed I had the same case but am not elderly. Ended up paying 70/30 against me. 4500 a day barrister cost me that by being useless. I reccomended a solicitor. But I honestly would reccomend a sane, intelligent and informed man to stand for himself. It all comes down to a 10 minute tiff in court and the most believable wins

Just curious, could you have got away with 50.50 on day one?

Bev Bradshaw ... sorted things for a few around here very sharp!
Took over my FIL's divorce which was getting very complicated. His solicitor in Exsex was giving all sorts of stuff away...Bev very quickly sorted it out and not too expensive.
They also have a very specialist solicitor that knows farming inside out.

She probably ended up pocketing less than my first offer before solicitors were involved, but greed on her side took over and it ended up in an acrimonious, very expensive solicitors bill on both sides. If I hadn't employed a solicitor and had defended myself it would have been a better job all round.
