We had a jeresy heifer that blew after every meal. She was called “football” because that was her shape after eating.
Vet inserted a screw in valve in to her rumen to release gases as the feed digested.

She died

Thanks that's exactly what the vet did yesterday told me she'd be fine but more prone to an infection then was told by neighbouring herdsman that she will die wtf?? Vet also said it was probably just her unable to digest the food.As for the other calf with a swollen rectum the vet said it was probably down to stress (as we mucked the shed they were moved) and having diarrhoea but no temp feeding fine and was bright enough. Thank you
