Glyphosate: Calls to ban cancer-linked weedkiller in Wales
There are fears the weedkiller is being sprayed near schools and nurseries and could cause harm.

They do excel themselves at reporting around the facts and makes them fit an agenda. For a start, the "crowd" are complaining about Glyphosate, but mostly it talks about the coucils using weedkillers. But all the links are about glyphosate.
In know a lot of councils use Flazasulfuron instead (or as well as) as it gives residual effects. They use it because glyphosate has no residual effect so would require them to repeat the process.
They talk about EU laws and losing the product in the future based on the fact that council workers can spray it properly and probably aren't spraying it at the right rates as well as having Flaza in the mixture to boot too.
Why should farmers lose an active which can be used safely and properly because councils can't? Articles like this really don't help.
