Yes, started DD’ing Winter Barley. Needs to go on 2 weeks earlier than conventional. Conditions good but only dare put on half rate pre-ems ahead of forecast heavy rain. The rest will follow peri-em.

lads been putting new metal on ploughs and ph" s this morning so looks like monday/tuesday as finished spreading muck yesterday the scratching tool is on standby

Was wanting to be on this week but far to wet. Good drying this weekend to get things dried up but forecast for rain again all next week, need to get lime on some of it too :(

Started strip tilling wheat after beans today. W barley will follow because what was oats still has lots of wet straw on it......
