Sowing grass seed with one pass seeder

Just discing some fields after they’ve been burnt off. Going to be power harrowing then now prior to grass sowing, has anyone had much success with using a one pass to sow the seed to save me a pass over the field?
Got a Kuhn-accord 3M seeder that I can use. I’m assuming I’d be best to tie the Coulter’s up to let the seed spread out a bit prior to the following harrows or remove the rubber pipes before the steel ones on Coulter?

Thanks

Either or just screw the drill up as far as possible and keep it at full wind. It blows the seed around well enough or if you're really picky then take the pipes off but to be honest the following harrow can row it up as much as anything depending on type of tines you have

Ah I see! It’s got the sort of Z shaped tines at the back?
Either that or we just do an extra pass and use the old 3M Fiona drill that we’ve used for years.

A good investment might be a 6 meter einbok for future?

If I do grass with our disc Kuhn I struggle to get the discs far enough up to blow the seed around so the front row end up actually drilling in rows and the back blowing it and after a year you wouldn't know the difference the accord coulter drill did make a better job of spreading it

Don't bother with an extra pass the accord will be fine

I know someone had an old accord that they chopped up to make a grass seed drill cut the coulters up at the bend to blow seed and he's on the tines your on about and he says if he does too much with them it rows it a bit

It's the same with my browns harrow / seeder if I do too much with tines it comes up in little rows but evens out afterwards

Here's what I use. Hyd coulter lift is handy and don't bother with the following harrow.
