Spicer axle leaking

Anyone ever done a spicer axle where it’s leaking around the drive shaft entering ? I’m guessing there’s a seal in there or something? It’s on a manitou pivot steer handler.

Anyone ever done a spicer axle where it’s leaking around the drive shaft entering ? I’m guessing there’s a seal in there or something? It’s on a manitou pivot steer handler.

Normally and easy, only on your MLA you have to unbolt the propshaft support bearing in the chassis to get the shaft out the way.

Once shaft is off its a 30mm socket to undo the yoke nut then yoke pulls off, there is an oring under the nut and then a 2 lip oil seal in the axle, flick seal out with screw driver and knock a new one in.
