Spool valve leak/creep

Evening all,

Hope everyone is doing well.

I have a Claas Axion 820 Cebis and I am having a problem with the front hydraulic linkage.

The front hydraulic linkage are run from 2 hydraulic lines that run from the front and tap into the rear number 4 spool valve(On the little joystick). They are not plugged into the back via quick couplers, they are essentially hard lined into the spool(pictured).

I am getting a lot of creep on the hydraulics. When you activate the front hydraulics the rams lift the arms brilliantly but when you put the stick in the neutral position the arms slowly fall.

There is a manual tap mounted at the top of which the lines flow through and if once the arms are up you shut off the tap the hydraulics lock and stop creeping. But obviously this is not ideal as you have to constantly reach out the back to turn it on or off.

Any ideas wether there is a check valve internally on the spool valve at fault and or wether its best to retro fit one to sort the problem?

Thanks again

Is that a Danfoss PVG32 valve fitted to that tractor?

Only know about Bosch valves but commonly check valve is only one side.
if it’s not easy to swap the hoses, plug a tipping trailer in and check the fronthitch raise hose is in the same side that a trailer holds up on.
