It certainly has been the one big bonus of coronavirus, no sport! I can live with that the endless praise of a bunch of tossers who have never done a days work in their lives

Yes...

But in the same breath, I play a sport at local/club level. The season, competitions are as much about socialising as it is anything else. The team (4 of us) are close and the banter on and off the ice with the other teams and clubs is brilliant...

The season was cut short, but our games were pretty much finished. I really hope our level can get up and going again for the coming season. It's the only thing that gets me out of the house on a week night through the winter.

Seriously good for you, I have all the time in the world for local sport, but cannot stomach the endless adulation of the so called heroes at the top of the sporting pole, sucking every last penny out of the game they represent

To be fair, I think that's a bit hard on the players. Blame the millions of people who pay their subscription to watch them on the idiot box. It is the TV money that has thrown football out of kilter with the real world. Until Sky etc came along, clubs existed largely on what was paid at the turnstiles, and the players were aware of that direct connection and would be seen by the fans as 'one of their own'.
Young lads want to be a footballer today for the same reasons they always have done. Giving a 20 yr old 50k a week is asking for trouble in any walk of life. As I say, blame those who give him the £50k, the armchair fans.

748 premier players tested , 6 were positive , end of season .....
6 positive tests not all were players though. Testing was done before they returned to training so they've to isolate. The same number of positive tests the Germans had so why can't the league restart?

Has any Boxing returned yet out of interest?

Yes. Eddie Hearn has erected a ring in his garden and running a whole card most weekends on Sky

Big risk from boxing is salvia and blood, when boxers are punching each other, cuts man will need mask as well as gloves.
