Sprayer self fill

Have a knight 2500 litre sprayer from mid to late 90s it's on a knight crusader. How long should it take to self fill using a 2 inch suction hose from ground level. Seems very slow. Checked filters and all clean. Or are all sprayers slow to suck up. As I see most have a petrol driven pump

How long does it take then for your sprayer to fill up? If its really slow you could be sucking in air somewhere. Can't think of any sprayers that have a petrol driven pump on them, some folks use a stand alone petrol pump to fill liquid fert fast but most will use the sprayers own pump.
