Spring Cultivation

Our land is fairly heavy and has slumped over the winter with too much rain and not enough frosts. I’m afraid that the top two inches will be like concrete and under that will be like soft cheese! Normally we would powerharrow for beet and Claydon drill beans, but I think it needs lifting a bit first - does anyone have any words of wisdom of what to use that won’t pull up big lumps of snot?

Iv got some that's compacted to hell on the top, the pig time cultivator was bouncing over the top, i have given up and dropped the plough in, its ploughing fine to be fair. I'm doing that let it haze off and cultivate it and combi drill with beans
