Must be very different at opposite ends of the country ! Another 12 mm overnight and looking at the forecast it’s unlikely any drilling is likely until mid April around here, we were finished March 4th though, thankfully !!Managed to grab a couple of very long days last week and got oats and beans in, did spring barley end of February.
Barleys emerged now and looks better than expected, with having far too much rain since drilling.
Still have 120ac spring beans to get in for neighbouring farms, fingers crossed this next week, should be on today but have kids all weekend.
