Square bale feeder?

Wasn’t sure if this belongs in livestock & forage or here!

Does anyone have any bright ideas on a mechanised way to feed quadrant size bales out in the field/on the hill? Currently just loading in the pick up and chucking wads out, which works fine but takes 2 people.

I know hustler make a feeder that’ll do square bales but they’re expensive and rarely come up second hand. I was wondering if a trailer that pushed the bale off the back would work?

I made a trailer that I can just plonk my spreadabale on, connect a couple of pipes and tow it off down the field, works really well.

I was worried that the loader would make too much mess, I just used the speadabale on the loader when it was concrete hard in the early autumn here.

Pictures in the 'not quite farm engineering or a quick bodge, thread.
