Has anyone on here had anything to do with a Stanhay Salvo 650 drill? We’ve just bought one at a good price but could do with an operators/parts manual and any information existing users may have on them as they seem a bit of a rarity!

did you have any success? i am looking to buy one, but doesn't come with discs. I assume that's how it works, different disks for different seed size?

Very few parts are available now. I rebuilt our one with new bearings in the flywheel, we have new unit seals to fit to it. New discs are no longer available for the machine. We are planning on selling our one now as I bought a second precision seeder that can do all the vegetables we grow including the peas, French beans and sweetcorn that I drilled with this one.

I bought a 5 row Sfoggia Calibra precision drill with a few extra sets of seeder discs, I still need to get another set for sweetcorn yet. It's set for 30cm rows but can easily disable two units for doing wider spaced crops.
