Starfire GPS Protection?

John Deere are heavily promoting the fact that their new software update includes PIN protection for their GPS equipment to help prevent thefts.
Great idea !
Has anyone actually discovered how to enable this feature after the update because I can't see where it's hidden?

Will it actually make a difference though. The unit will still be stolen and just be dumped if it’s discovered it can’t be sold. Then go and steal another.

Downside of a swapable / third party system init!

As we know a good factory system is tucked well inside the roof and can’t (at least not easily) be hacked out from the outside. Then the screen is integrated into the armrest of the tractor. There is something to be said for that approach which personally I find works well and is secure.

JD make their yellow and green tits just too easy to nick imho.

On the Starfire page there is a picture of a padlock. Press it and you will be asked to provide a administrator pin and an operator pin. Simples
